To transport your big brown shipments, the online retailer created Amazon Air in India. All of this is part of their bigger plan to take over the skies. And it doesn't carry out every task on its own. It collaborates with seven different aircraft manufacturers to handle the grunt work of managing pilots, adhering to rules, and flying the aircraft.

Just before Christmas, Amazon was running a deal of the day. It was for the Kindle. There was a problem, though. The Seattle area was lacking in Kindles, according to Amazon. Therefore, it asked its freight partner UPS for “backup.”UPS responded negatively. Frantic work and calls were made, and somehow Amazon was able to charter enough aircraft. A Christmas miracle indeed!

However, one incident was sufficient to start the fire. Amazon understood that it couldn't trust delivery services like FedEx and UPS with its customers' goods. The only way to control these factors was to purchase its own planes.

However, there were issues; there had been a significant global shipping issue. There weren't enough containers, and shipping costs were skyrocketing. Amazon had planned ahead. It made use of its own shipping network, which cut down on expenses and delays.

Getting involved with ships and aeroplanes is a ridiculously expensive venture. Sure, lightning-fast delivery is fantastic, but is it really worth spending so much money on?AWS, one of Amazon's cloud services, may hold the solution. AWS started out as a project within Amazon.com, to assist Amazon in growing its own e-commerce company

Amazon, to satisfy its own desire for speed, purchased and leased vehicles, aeroplanes, and ships. It has invested the money and showed how quickly it can deliver the items in only one or two days.

There are rumours that Amazon is starting to use this strategy in India. It enables all sellers to quickly move their products within the Amazon network. Furthermore, it is entering the field of sheer logistics firms like Blue Dart and Delhivery.
